This page explains exactly how deefarace.com recognises you when you return, what it remembers, where that information lives, and how to erase it completely — in plain English, no legal jargon.

How the site recognises you
Subscriber features are connected to your secure account. When you sign in, the site uses your active session to recognise you and can pre-fill eligible forms with the account details you have already provided.
Your account information is not stored in browser localStorage for recognition. Signing out ends the session on that device, and signing in on another device with the same account gives you access to the same eligible subscriber features.
The site does not use your account details for advertising or sell them to third parties. Any analytics cookies remain separate and only activate when you give consent through the cookie banner.
Live email lookup while you type
Eligible forms can use your active subscriber session to pre-fill your account name and email address. This happens only after you sign in and is designed to save you from re-entering the same details.
- Your account details are retrieved from the active secure session, not from a browser-stored visitor profile.
- You can review and change any pre-filled form field before submitting it.
- If you are not signed in, forms remain available and ask you to enter the information needed for that request.
- Signing out removes subscriber recognition from that device until you sign in again.
Forms that offer subscriber pre-fill include Music Download, Show Email, Testimonial, Booking Inquiry, Radio Play Request, and Website Feedback.
What is stored and where
Your subscriber account may include the information you choose to provide when signing up:
- Name and email address — used to identify your account and pre-fill eligible forms while you are signed in.
- Optional profile details — such as a nickname, company, birthday month and day, and announcement preferences, when you choose to provide them.
- Account session information — used to keep you signed in securely on the device you are using.
This information is stored securely with your subscriber account rather than as a browser-based recognition profile. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to track you across unrelated websites.
Subscriber data on the server
Subscriber account information is stored securely on the server that hosts this website. It is separate from your browser session and is not used as a browser-based recognition profile.
That server-side record is used only to:
- Send you show reminders, new music announcements, and personal updates from Dee.
- Send you a birthday greeting email on your birthday (if you provided your date of birth).
- Verify that you are a subscriber when you request a free music download.
You can manage your communication preferences through your subscriber account. If you need help with your account or preferences, please use the contact page.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. This only activates if you accepted analytics cookies via the cookie banner when you first visited.
Google Analytics does not receive your name or email address. It sees an anonymous identifier tied to your browser session. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
Your subscriber session is separate from analytics cookies. You can end the session on the device you are using at any time by choosing Sign out in the site header.
How to remove your information

This page is updated whenever a new feature is added to the site that affects how your information is collected, stored, or used. The goal is that you can always come here and get a complete, current picture of what the site knows about you and why.
Current features that involve personal information:
- Music download requests — name and email used to email a one-time download token; not stored beyond the token expiry.
- Show email requests — email used to send a single show-details email.
- Testimonial form — name and email collected to support the submitted testimonial.
- Booking Inquiry, Radio Play Request, Website Feedback — name and email collected for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
- Subscriber features — available through a secure signed-in account session, including eligible form pre-fill and personalised experiences.
